St. Louis Family Fitness Weekend, held in April each year, attracts over 25,000 participants annually. The weekend features events and races for people of all ages and fitness abilities, including a marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, 5K run/walk, children’s fun runs, and a mature mile. The 2012 event will be held on April 14 & 15 at Forest Park and Soldier's Memorial in downtown St. Louis. This year, GO! For A Cause and join the team of Cultural Leadership participants who are setting out to accomplish training goals, while at the same time raise funds and awareness for Cultural Leadership and to end racism. Team members receive a special link for the discounted registration and instructions on how to set up your personal fundraising page. Discounted fees are good through March 1 or until sold out. Events are filling up, so please register early. As a Cultural Leadership team member, you will receive weekly updates, training tips, and ways to stand up and speak out against racism and other forms of discrimination. Don't want to run or walk the race? Volunteers are needed for Sunday, April 15 to monitor the course and can also GO! For A Cause by raising funds and awareness to support Cultural Leadership.
